Our Story
Pool Techniks is a locally owned and operated pool service company founded by husband and wife team Nik and Ashley Perez. Nik brings hands-on expertise in pool equipment, repairs, diagnostics, automation, and system upgrades, while Ashley brings her business management experience and entrepreneurial spirit to the company.
Together, they believe pool service should be honest, knowledgeable, and personal. Whether you're dealing with an equipment problem or looking to upgrade your system, their goal is to provide straightforward answers, quality work, and solutions that make pool ownership easier.
Our Story
Pool Techniks is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Nik and Ashley Perez. Nik was born and raised in St. Augustine, FL, and Ashley is a lifelong Florida native.
Nik brings years of experience as a swimming pool mechanical contractor, along with a background in hospitality and a genuine commitment to doing honest, quality work. Ashley uses her business administration degree, management experience, and entrepreneurial spirit to help grow the company.
Nik has extensive knowledge of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, lights, automation, and repairs. Whether it's a small equipment issue or a bigger pool problem, he enjoys figuring out how to make it work the way it should.
When they're not working, you'll usually find Nik and Ash enjoying St. Augustine's beaches, spending time at Matanzas Inlet, traveling, snorkeling, or catching a favorite band at The Amp. Nik enjoys riding his Onewheel, while Ashley practices yoga. They also have four furry family members: two dogs, Remy and Tito, and two cats, Willow and Pepper.
